Mixed media, thrifted costume jewelry, and acrylic on wood panel. Each piece begins with thrifted and vintage costume jewelry—objects with a past that I transform into something entirely new. Inspired by a vintage tattoo of a Native American female chief, this work was created as portrait was a follow up to another work titled Indian Icon. The artwork measures 15" x 12" and comes framed.
