Mixed media, thrifted costume jewelry and acrylic on wood panel. Each piece begins with thrifted and vintage costume jewelry—objects with a past that I transform into something entirely new. The head, pictured in profile was an early experiment while using costume jewelry pieces to create a quilt inspired mapping of the brain.
